Conference Information

Welcome to the Mile High City! Denver is a vibrant city located at the foot of the Rocky Mountains and enjoys over 300 days of sunshine a year. We invite you to explore our city and experience all it has to offer. With seven pro sports teams to the nation’s second-largest performing arts complex, Denver offers a vast array of recreational and cultural activities that include: Denver Zoo, Downtown Aquarium, Denver Botanic Gardens, the Denver Art Museum and the Museum of Nature & Science.

With half of Colorado designated as public land (preserved in dozens of national forests, national and state parks, national monuments) it is less than an hour from downtown Denver to visit the colorful red monuments of Roxborough, the sheer cliffs of Eldorado Canyon, raft down Clear Creek or climb the 14,260-foot summit of Mount Evans (the highest paved road in North America).

Tour for free one of our many breweries, Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre (named the best Amphitheatre in the country), the U.S. Mint (reservations required) or the Colorado State Capitol where you can view 140 miles of snowcapped peaks & mountains from its gold leafed dome. You can even stand on the 13th step which denotes 5280 feet above sea level (exactly one mile high).

Business Meeting

The conference theme is "Regulating Alcohol in Today’s Dynamic Marketplace." An appropriate theme for Colorado as we, like many other states, face challenges with current alcohol laws and regulations. Our business agenda will cover a number of diverse issues that demonstrate the dynamic marketplace of alcohol today. Some of the featured panel presentations include discussions on the economy of the alcohol industry, the three tier system in today’s marketplace, tied house laws and evolving trade practices, modernization and innovation of the digital world, enforcement processes and priorities, hybrid licenses, plus two (2) ethics sessions and much more! To view the entire business agenda and list of alcohol beverage experts serving as presenters, just click on the links below.

Social Activities

The annual conference will kick off with a Welcome Reception on the Warning Track at Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies on Sunday, June 11th, at 6:00pm. Coors Field is an easy walk from the Westin (just 4 blocks away at the corner of 20th and Blake streets).

The social agenda offers a chance to enjoy the finest in Colorado hospitality at Coors Field and an evening nestled in the Rocky Mountains at the AmeriStar Resort in Black Hawk for a Champagne Reception (with awe inspiring views) before the Banquet and Awards Ceremony begins. Monday evening is intentionally left open for you to enjoy Downtown Denver and its many unique offerings. All meals have been carefully planned for you to enjoy to the fullest. Click on the link below to view the entire social agenda.
